Product Manager

As the Product Manager, you will leverage your experience in product development to create a world-class high-velocity roadmap for the evolution of the portfolio of IoT devices developed by Newtrax to monitor people (wearables), vehicles (telematics) and the environment (wireless sensor networks). In this role, you will effectively represent external customers within an agile product development environment and prioritize stakeholder requirements to maximize customer satisfaction with the constantly evolving suite of products.

Responsibilities

  • Product Vision: manage requirements and communicate product vision to external partners and sub-contractors including PCB Designers and Industrial Designers.
  • Ensure hardware platform supports the Embedded Firmware Features roadmap
  • Product Scope: own, define, maintain and prioritize the Product Backlog (Product Roadmap) on an ongoing basis for multiple products and establish the scope and goals for each product release.
  • Improve: promote continuous improvement in the product portfolio based on end customer requirements and priorities.

Technical Project Manager

Technical Project Manager

You will leverage your experience with HW based networking, mobile, telemetry or IoT products to effectively manage the design and delivery of a suite of products by external partners and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Based on product requirements you will oversee the ongoing development of about 10 Hardware-based networking products, including prototyping (including PCB’s), pre-production and NPI.
  • You will ensure appropriate DFX (manufacturability, assembly and test).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development of test automation strategies in partnership with software dev teams
  • Coaching the Scrum Teams on test automation methodologies and testable software practices
  • Contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of Newtrax automated tests and its platform for our complex IoT (Internet-of-Things) solutions such as:
    • Mesh network of embedded low-power software devices

In your role, you will provide continuous evaluation of the quality of the Newtrax solution and actively promote quality practices across the organization during the development of solutions for the underground mining industry. During the product development, the early involvement of the Quality Assurance Analyst is the key of ensuring the quality attributes and compliance with technical specifications of the solutions offered to our clients. Through his deep understanding of the system, the Quality Assurance Analyst is a centric resource in the team for identifying potential problems and evaluating their impact on the whole system. Methodical and rigorous test techniques allow the Quality Assurance Analyst to achieve reproducible and scalable activities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate in ensuring that features are well defined ahead of development by respecting the I.N.V.E.S.T. criteria

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, build, modify and repair QC (Quality Control) test fixtures for electronics manufacturing of Newtrax products:
  • Write Hardware and Software design document and apply review comments
  • Write Test control software on PC (or on an embedded platform)
  • Write Test Firmware on microcontrollers and embedded Linux products
  • Use adequate protocols between test fixture elements
  • Design electronic board of the QC fixtures: functional tests, bed of nails
