Product Manager

As the Product Manager, you will leverage your experience in product development to create a world-class high-velocity roadmap for the evolution of the portfolio of IoT devices developed by Newtrax to monitor people (wearables), vehicles (telematics) and the environment (wireless sensor networks). In this role, you will effectively represent external customers within an agile product development environment and prioritize stakeholder requirements to maximize customer satisfaction with the constantly evolving suite of products.

Responsibilities

  • Product Vision: manage requirements and communicate product vision to external partners and sub-contractors including PCB Designers and Industrial Designers.
  • Ensure hardware platform supports the Embedded Firmware Features roadmap

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development of test automation strategies in partnership with software dev teams

  • Act as an ambassador of Newtrax in the territory’s mining industry by attending events such as trade shows and association events, etc.
  • Escalate worthy sales opportunities that require product development to VP R&D and VP Product Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing, maintaining and managing new and existing business opportunities for Newtrax product portfolio within the Mexico mining industry

  • Achieving sales targets set on an annual basis

  • Maintaining and building strategic relationships with existing and potential customers and industry contacts.

  • Develop and implement business plans and strategies to continue growth for Newtrax mining business in the a designated region

  •  Managing existing and new accounts while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through identifying areas in which new value can be added to the clients as well as rectifying issues promptly

  • Developing strategic relationships with customers, dealers and industry contacts
