Business Intelligence Analyst


  • Developing, maintaining and managing new and existing business opportunities for Newtrax product portfolio within the Mexico mining industry

  • Achieving sales targets set on an annual basis

  • Maintaining and building strategic relationships with existing and potential customers and industry contacts.

  • Develop and implement business plans and strategies to continue growth for Newtrax mining business in the a designated region

  •  Managing existing and new accounts while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through identifying areas in which new value can be added to the clients as well as rectifying issues promptly

  • Developing strategic relationships with customers, dealers and industry contacts

  • Ensuring sales forecasts and budgets are achieved

  • Identifying, fostering and leveraging relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and industry contacts supporting the attainment of the goals of the business

  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the region and, in particular, customer needs and requirements

  • Presenting and demonstrating the mine systems product range and associated benefits for customers

  • Contributing to development and ongoing updating of financial and personnel budgets for approval by senior management

  • Providing continual input to the forecasting process for the region

  • Preparing periodic sales reports as required

  • Preparing and delivering sales presentations and demonstrations

  • Preparing and delivering quotes and proposals

  •  Preparing documentation and submissions for Tenders, Expressions Of Interest and Requests For Information

  • Liaising with Finance department for management of receivables

  • Representing the business in industry events and tradeshows and collaborate with the Marketing and Product Management team to prepare for such events

  • Compliance with Newtrax’s Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures, participation in audits and compliance with instructions given in respect to the health and safety of one’s self and the safety of others


  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Sales, Engineering or other relevant disciplines (highly desirable)
  • Sales / commercial experience in the mining industry (highly desirable)
  • Commercial experience dealing with technology based solutions and products (highly desirable)
  • Previous successful sales track record is essential
  • Previous track record working autonomously

  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (in particular, Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
  • Ability to travel as required – there is a considerable amount of intrastate, interstate and international travel required to fulfil this role
